Too Many Microgaming Slots?

Casino Articles

When is enough, enough? All online casinos offer new games on a semi regular basis which is good and makes visiting your favorite online casino new and enjoyable. But when does it become too much of a good thing? Microgaming is the "giant" in the online gaming industry for gaming software and has an impeccable reputation with players everywhere, but in the past 2 or 3 years we have been bombarded month after month with at least 4 new games non stop! To me having too many games to choose from makes my gambling time more expensive and time consuming. How and why do I say this? Let me explain.

I consider gambling online a better way to win than going to my local land based casino because I can really get to know the games at these casinos. By being a regular gambler at my fav microgaming casino, I have had the chance to play all of the slot games and have found which ones are luckier for me and which ones don't ever get "hot". Back a few years ago I had an 85% chance that I would win when I decided to deposit and gamble on my favorite microgaming slots because I knew them so well I could go straight to the slot games that I knew paid often and paid well. But that has all changed now with the new additions every single month. It's almost impossible with over 200 slot games to be able to find which slot games are hot that day and which ones are not because there is too many to search through. And with 4 to 5 new ones being added monthly it has changed my luck and my strategy immensely.

Another bad thing about all the new slot games that are added so often is that the video slot games with multiple paylines now pay out very little with each individual winning combination. With the older multi payline slot games like "Thunderstruck" you could bet the minimum of 45 cents on the penny coin value and hit at the minimum half of your bet on the smallest winning combination, but with the newer video multi payline slot games you can bet 45 cents and win only a nickel which is horrible! The new slot games are nice to look at and the graphics are great and all the special features make people want to play them, but the payout on winning combinations is rotten unless you're betting big money.

So when is enough, enough when it comes to how many games should be at an online casino and how often new ones should be added? For me I say go ahead and add new games, but not every month. Try bringing it down to every 3 months go ahead and add a game or two but make the new games worth playing and not the "one arm bandits" that everyone has nicknamed slot games in the first place!
